I won't be discussing bug fixes because there are far too many to discuss and they can all be found on Trello.

Terra Escalation

The Theme

The theme for the newest escalation appears to be mushrooms. The very first community event, Terra Cognition, ended right before this hunt pass began but I hadn't realized how far the mushroom theme would go. The daily collectibles around Ramsgate are called Blightwort and there is an entirely new collectible for the new tonics: Purewort. The newly terra behemoths are being called Sporestruck, and one look at their reskins can explain why.

The Map

The new map for the Terra escalation contains the mushroom theme as mentioned before, but it is unique because it features houses. There is nothing of note inside of them as far as I can tell, but you can climb around the map far more than any other escalation. The giant mushrooms along the way are a very nice touch, but the boss room inside a giant tree is even better.

The Keystone Behemoth

Agarus is a very well-designed boss. Its name comes from agar, the substance used to grow fungi and bacteria in labs. It is unique compared to the other keystone behemoths because it is the first to sit almost completely still the whole fight. Agarus is a tree with mushrooms on it and the mounting points are three breakable parts on its back. It is the first behemoth to lack legs and instead has a trunk and some vines that move as a single unit.

The Sporestruck Behemoths

The Sporestruck skins on the Charrogg and Embermane are very impressive and far more detailed than the ones that came with the blaze or umbral escalation. They look more different from their original form than even the Pangar and Hellion and they're separate behemoths. Both feature the ability to be mounted, which is a first for a non-keystone behemoth which could suggest it becoming a bigger aspect of the game in the future.

Strange Horizons Hunt Pass

The newest Hunt Pass is the first to feature three complete sets of armor transmogs, although one isn't new to the game. It is also the first Hunt Pass to fully refund the platinum for the purchase price. Most notably, it is also the first Hunt Pass to include a bonus for players that purchase it during the first week. That bonus is a new cosmetic: aether trails.

Thornguard Armor

Unlocked at Level 1 of the Elite Track. The non-customizable elements are the glowing green eyes, lanterns, shoulder pads, and belts. It matches nicely with the weapon transmogs from the last hunt pass.

Alchemancer Armor

Unlocked at Level 50 of the Elite Track. The most notable element not pictured is the bag is covered in sharp teeth. The name is a play on words combining alchemist with necromancer which tie into the needle themed weapons.

Sentinel Armor

Unlocked at Level 50 of the Free Track. It was in the shop previously.
