Dauntless Rumors

Don't worry I'm not going to discuss actual rumors, but instead the new questlines that are being introduced in Dauntless Reforged. A new Reddit thread was posted as part of Phoenix Labs' new transparency initiative. It covers all the Dauntless Reforged changes and updates including armor releases for Hunt Passes.

Rumors

Future Hunt Passes won't have any armor sets on the free track. Instead, they are going to have questlines, called rumors, at different levels. After finishing all the quests in a rumor, players will earn one piece of armor matching the current Elite Track theme. The next Hunt Pass is said to include a helm and chest transmog.

Some rumors will also be available with other existing Ramsguard residents like Ozz, the event dealer, regardless of Hunt Pass level. These transmogs won't be available any other way, like in the Vault or the Store. The Phoenix Labs team also suggested that you might have to bride the Middleman or pay platinum if you are struggling with a quest.

There is another piece of good news with the new rumors system because they aren't time-sensitive so as long as you unlock them during the Hunt Pass, you can complete them at your own pace.

So What's Coming?

The next Hunt Pass (the Cold Front) comes out on December 4th and is winter-themed. I have a hunch that the newest behemoth (which we already know is frost) will arrive with that Hunt Pass.

Dauntless Reforged will also come out sometime in December and there should be some buffs to underutilized cells along with everything that was announced.

The Halloween armor that was in the store display case will also be released with Dauntless Reforged. It ended up being too glitchy to release in October.

Supposedly armor or at least armor transmogs will also be released for Sporestruck and Shadowtouched behemoths in Escalations.
